Preparation
Now that you are all booked, here are some questions that come up often regarding how the tours go.
What to Bring
Depending on the tour you choose to join, you might need to wear a particular outfit. Here is all the information you need.
Transportation
Our pick-up points are all located in central London. Most tours have 1 or more of the following pick-up point options: London Bridge, Kings Cross, Victoria, South Kensington, Earls Court. You choose your preferred pick-up point at the time of booking, and will then find the full address on your e-ticket. The pick-up points are all bus stops close to underground stations, other than our Harry Potter walking tour which meets at Leicester Square.
Our pick-up points are always located very close to underground stations to make it easy for you to reach. We strongly suggest taking public transport – ideally overground or underground trains. Kindly note that the traffic in London can be very heavy at times, so travelling by taxi often takes longer. Public transport is also the more sustainable option.
We always recommend arriving around 10 minutes early to the pick-up point to ensure a prompt departure at the time given on your e-ticket.
Most of our minibuses and coaches are white with ‘Anderson Travel’ in green on the sides. We also have a few coaches that are dark grey, but also say ‘Anderson Travel’ on on the sides.
Tours will end in central London, the tour guide or driver-guide will advise you of the drop-off options on the day and assist you with planning your route home if needed. The drop-off points are usually Earls Court and/or London Bridge, plus more if there is time and demand for other drop-offs.
You are welcome to change your pick-up point 48hrs or more before the tour by emailing info@andersontours.co.uk to request the change. We will send you a new e-ticket with the new pick-up point info on it. If you do not receive confirmation of the pick-up point change then please go to your original pick-up point, as we only go to pick-ups that have been requested in advance.
