Discover the Enchanting Cotswolds: A Day Tour from London
Escape the hustle and bustle of London for a day and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Cotswolds. Our Cotswolds tour from London offers you an unforgettable experience, taking you through some of the most picturesque villages in England. From the charming streets of Burford to the tranquil waters of Bourton on Water, this tour is a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul. Below is an in-depth look at the places you’ll visit:

Burford – ‘The Gateway to the Cotswolds’
Burford is often referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds,’ and for good reason. This mediaeval town is a perfect introduction to the rustic charm you’ll find throughout the region. Walk down the High Street, lined with 17th and 18th-century architecture, and visit St. John the Baptist Church, a stunning example of Perpendicular Gothic architecture. The town is also home to a variety of boutique shops and traditional pubs where you can sample local fare.
Bibury – ‘The Prettiest Village in England’
Often described as the ‘most beautiful village in England,’ Bibury is a must-see. The iconic Arlington Row, a series of 17th-century weavers’ cottages, is one of the most photographed spots in all of the Cotswolds. The River Coln flows through the village, providing a peaceful backdrop for a leisurely stroll. Don’t forget to visit the Bibury Trout Farm, one of the oldest in the country, where you can fish for your own dinner!

Bourton on Water –‘The Venice of the Cotswolds’
Known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds,’ Bourton on Water offers a unique experience with its series of low stone bridges crossing the tranquil River Windrush. The village is perfect for those who love the water, offering opportunities for paddleboarding and bird-watching. The Model Village, a 1/9th scale replica of the village, is a popular attraction, as is the Cotswold Motoring Museum for vintage car enthusiasts.
Broadway Tower –‘Britain’s most famous Foley’
Broadway Tower offers one of the most spectacular viewpoints in England. Built in the late 18th century, the tower is an architectural marvel and has an intriguing history as a retreat for artists and writers like William Morris. Climb to the top for panoramic views that stretch over multiple counties. The surrounding parkland is also home to a herd of red deer, offering excellent photo opportunities.

Lower Slaughter – ‘The most Romantic Village in Britain’
Lower Slaughter is the epitome of a Cotswold village, complete with stone cottages, meandering streams, and an old mill. The village has been named the ‘most romantic street in Britain,’ and you’ll understand why as you walk along the copse-lined banks of the River Eye. The Old Mill museum provides insight into the village’s history, and the café is a perfect spot for afternoon tea.
